Art Classes in Ennis just keep getting better!!
We are in the final stretch before summer holiday, and let me tell you, work in the studio, by adults and by children, keeps getting better and better. Have a look at the fantastic pics. You will be able to have a better look and admire the paintings and drawings during the exhibition we are planning for the end of the term. You can also see the amazing masks made by the transition year students in Ennis Community College. These were used for the St Patrick's Day parade this year, where we brought out our fire breathing dragon! We would be holding another mask making workshop in Glor during the Ennis Streeet Festival in July, so sign up for it before it is too late if you are interested. And by the way, Tic Toc Puppets will be bringing the Door to Magic again to the Festival this year, so keep an eye on it, it's going to be an unbelievable experience!!
2012: Art For All. Art Classes for Adults and Children in Ennis, Co. Clare.
Welcome back and Happy New Year to you all!
Christmas was great, and we are just looking forward to see you again for some terrific Art fun! We are also looking forward to some bright, warm spring weather so we can start painting outdoors!
If you are interesting in taking up some Art Classes, we are right here, in the heart of Ennis Town, and we offer you a warm, bright, confortable place to come and try to explore your artistic posibilities. Art Classes schedule for the new year is as follow:
Adult Art Classes.
Mornings: Wednesday 10.30 to 12.30. Adult Evenings: Wednesday 6.30 to 8.30 pm.
Fee is €100 for 8 weeks. Beginners or Improvers all welcome. Charcoal drawing, still lifes, observational drawing/painting, color theory, portraiture. Oil, acrylics, pastels, watercolor... you decide the technique you want to work with and work at your own pace in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Cookies and tea/coffee provided during the break. Why not having a look at some of the work produced in the class!! Class numbers are up to 6 people max.
Children Classes, Arts and Crafts:
Arts and Crafts for 5 to 7 years old, Thursday at 5.30 to 6.30 pm.
Fee is €75 for 8 weeks. Painting, Drawing, Clay Modelling, Collage, Puppetry and more. This class really is all about having fun while learning a new skill that helps little ones developing their creativity and improving confidence and self steem.
Art classes for 10 to 12 years old, Friday at 6.00 to 7.00 pm.
Fee is €75 for 8 weeks. Observational drawing, painting, animation, modelling, seasonal crafts...we do work in different projects, though personalized attention is given to each individual due to the reduced numbers in the class. Have a good look at the fantastic work produced by this young artists.

Much more than an Art Class!!
After a refreshing summer holiday (I cant believe it's nearly over), we are ready again to start our busy schedule in our lovely studio.
Why not to give it a try. From mid September onwards, there is going to be Art Classes for adults and children of all ages and levels. And believe me when I say this is much more than an Art Class. It's a hands on experience that will bring you wherever you want to go. We would touch and investigate many art forms, materials and themes, we would let you focus on what you really want to do and work at your own pace. The studio is an insipiring space, home of Tic Toc Puppets creations, so there is always something going on around here!
Children Classes activities include puppetry, animation, clay modelling, arts and crafts, painting, drawing, observational drawing and much more. The classes will start on the week of the 12th of September. Ages from 6 years onwards, running different groups depending on age. Classes are one hour long, and they are run in blocks of 8 weeks. Fee is €75 for the 8 weeks, all materials included, and there is a limit of 6 people per class.
Adult Classes focus on drawing and painting in different media, including oils, acrylic, watercolour, pastels and mixed media, depending on your own preference, though you would be gently encouraged to try at least one media that's new to you. Colour theory, composition, the usage of different tools and the use of different techniques, such as impasto or glazing, will all be learned through a hands on approach while you work on your master pieces! The studio provides a cosy, relaxed environment to learn and develop at your own pace. Classes will be two hours long, and they will be in blocks of 8 weeks. Fee will be €100 for the 8 weeks and depending on your choice you should bring your own materials to work with, though some basic material is provided. Tea, coffee and cookies are included. There will be a morning and an evening class subject to number of bookings. Maximum people per class: 6.
Classes for older children and young adults will also take place in the evenings. Portfolio preparation, leaving cert (Art) preparation and Graphic Design (Photoshop/ Illustrator/ In Design), or just painting and drawing with some guidance. This class will run if the numbers allow it so at the moment we are just taking numbers to build up a group.
